From Freddie's Diary: Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Freddie first! I am usually a gentleman … except when it comes to food! I am a treat hound. I try. In fact, I recently went from 106 lbs to 104 lbs. I lost 2 lbs (106 lbs – 104 lbs = 2 lbs)! Go, Freddie go, go! go, Freddie go, go! (Use your imagination to insert an image of my Happy Dog Dance.)

This colder weather is “my cup of tea” (I love that expression even though I am an H20-slurper, not a tea-sipper). I am outside every chance I get to walk, explore, socialize and play. The summer can be very, very hot. Uncomfortably hot! My tongue usually hangs down around my kneecaps in the summer!

It was perfectly comfortable in the library this evening. I nestled next to the children on the carpet and heard Annie’s Chair by Deborah Niland about a little girl who gets upset when her doggie sits in her chair, Domino by Claire Masurel about a small little puppy who couldn’t do many of the things that other dogs could do and proved that sometimes being smallest is best, Happy and Honey by Laura Godwin about a cat who was trying to play with a dog when he was sleeping, and many more.

I can’t wait until my next library visit!

Fondly,
Freddie, PAL dog extraordinaire
