The Halloween Party Was a Blast!

More Than 115 Attended, with Many in Costume
At Friday afternoon's Halloween Party, neighborhood children and their families/caregivers gathered in the library's Meeting Room (decorated for the occasion with spiderwebs, pumpkins and bats) for Halloween rhymes and a spooky story, and then we all paraded through the library to show off our costumes and get treats from each of the librarian's desks! After that, we had a snack, and each child decorated a pumpkin to take home.
Thank you to all library staff for handing out treats! A big thank you to our volunteers, Molly and Abby, for helping out with set-up, decorations, crafts and everything else! And a very special thank you to all 115 of you who attended. YOU made the party so much fun!
