From Snowball's Diary: Tuesday, November 15, 2011

I am a shy doggie. Reading books about other bashful boys like me has been very helpful. Miss Julie recommended Buster the Very Shy Dog by Lisze Bechtold, The Shy Creatures by David Mack and Shy Guy by Gilles Tibo. They are all special books to me.

It is ironic, I suppose, that a shy guy like me can also be very talkative at times. I am using this talent to help my friend program a robot. I am providing the sound effects with my voice. Cool, right?  I feel amazing when I speak into a microphone and hear the sound of my own voice. I cannot wait to try karaoke!

When I am not in the recording studio, I am usually keeping my family company or listening to children read at the library. Becoming a certified PAL dog was one of the best things I have ever done! Tonight I heard some impressive readers read. I listened to Sally Goes to the Mountains  by Stephen Huneck. It was a breath of fresh air!  And Stanley’s Party by Linda Bailey was a hoot!

Naptime!

Sincerely,
Snowball
