Love at first sight… That is how my family describes seeing me for the first time. It is my favorite family story…
‘Tis the season to share stories and the library is a perfect place for that. In fact, I just read that the Takoma Park Library is inviting folks to share their library stories. Perhaps they would be interested in a pooch’s perspective for their Oral History Project. I am a proactive pup.
Tonight at the library I learned that I had a "vertebra" and "symmetrical features." A student brought his science book to read to me. I felt so important to learn what he was studying at school. Maybe one day I could even go to veterinary school! I was so motivated to learn more that before I left the library I checked out Experiments to Do on Your Family: 20 Projects and Experiments About Sisters, Brothers, Parents, Pets, and the Rest of the Gang by Karen Romano Young, Nature Science Experiments: What’s Hopping in a Dust Bunny by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen and Science Wizardry for Kids by Margaret Kenda. I love science!
Sincerely,
Snowball, PAL dog extraordinaire
