Two weeks in a row… Lucky me! I love going to the Takoma Park Library. It is one of my favorite places to volunteer. I volunteer at the Little Sisters of the Poor as a companion, at Rock Creek Park as a junior ranger and at PAL as a reading specialist. My days are full helping my community.
Tonight at the library, I heard "Clifford goes to Hollywood" by Norman Bridwell. I love that big red doggie! "Bed Hog" by Georgette Noullet. An adorable little story! "La Rue for Mayor: Letters from the Campaign Trail" by Mark Teague, which made me wonder if Mayor Gray might need a dog on his staff to help out…
Miss Julie oohed and aahed about my outfit this evening. She said I looked like I just came off a Paris Runway! Imagine that?! I do try to put my best paw forward. I’ll make sure to pack that coat when I go to Philadelphia for Christmas. I’ll look elegant sitting in Rittenhouse Square stalking squirrels. I’ll also make sure to pack some books to read. I was thinking maybe… "Our Liberty Bell" by Henry Jonas Magaziner, "Squirrels" by Justine Ciovacco, "Welcome to the World of Squirrels" by Diane Swanson, and "Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris" by Geronimo Stilton. That should keep me entertained and informed!
