Cleveland Park Read-In

What's Happening in the Library?

Photo of Flying BooksOn Saturday, March 10, join us from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a variety of events for all ages as members of the community demonstrate the various activities that take place at Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library.  We will begin at noon in the first floor meeting room with shadow puppet plays for the younger children, proceeding to a lesson in Scottish dancing for all ages accompanied by readings of Robert Burns.   This event will be followed by a Teen Hour.  Later, we will feature readings in world languages with English translation, the reading of a one-act play, and more! The schedule and names of the readers will be posted in the front window of the library.

In the second floor meeting room, representatives of various groups that meet in the library will hold an open house to talk about and demonstrate what they do - from book clubs and discussion groups to the Fiber Arts Workshop.
