"14 Women" - Documentary

Eighty-five years after American women received the right to vote with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the unprecedented number of 14 women were elected to the 109th Congress as United States Senators. Stop by the Tenley-Friendship Library for the screening of the 2008 documentary, 14 Women, which presents the senators as they balance their public and private lives, in order to examine women’s experiences in political America. (70 minutes)
