Support the NW One Library Food Drive

This month, as we celebrate the premiere of the film adaptation of Suzanne Collin's riveting YA novel Hunger Games, DC Public libraries throughout the District are hosting their very own "Hunger Action Stations." From Saturday March 10th through Saturday March 31st, Northwest One Library visitors are encouraged to pick up literature about child hunger and food insecurity in Washington, D.C. Bring donations of canned foods and dry goods for Martha's Table. Our goal is to bring greater attention to the cause of eradicating food insecurity issues in our city. Join us in our combined efforts to engender more awareness and commitment to resolving child hunger issues. Stop by the library to learn more.
If you work in a school, why not try getting your fellow teachers or students on board? Work for a business or organization? Have a friendly competition with your co-workers to see who can bring in the most. We are working on getting special prizes for groups or individuals with big donations, so may the odds be ever in your favor. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 202-939-5946 with any questions.
