High School Competition: "We Know DC"

What do you know about D.C. History? Come see young people from throughout the city show off their skills as students from four D.C. high schools compete to demonstrate how much they know about historical and contemporary D.C. elections, D.C. government, and D.C.'s political milestones. The purpose of this competition is to help prepare students for the Primary Election April 3 and the General Election November 6. This will be the first General Election in D.C. in which 17-year-olds can vote for president. This exciting event takes place at Martin Luther King Jr. Library in room A-5 on March 15 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

We Know DC is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the District of Columbia and the Washingtoniana Division of DC Public Library.
