Third Annual Haiku Poetry Contest

Utamaro Woodblock PrintThe Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library is pleased to announce our Third Annual Haiku Poetry Contest!

To enter, submit an original Haiku poem on the contest entry form, which are available at the circulation desk. Submissions will be posted in the library during the 2012 National Cherry Blossom Festival. To qualify, poems must follow the five-syllable, seven-syllable, five-syllable pattern.  Prizes will be awarded for the best haiku submitted in the adult, teen and children’s categories and the winning poetry will be published on the Cleveland Park Library website. Winners will be announced on April 30, 2012. One entry per participant, please.
