Young Adult Novels Book Club

Teen novels aren't just for teens! The Southeast Library's newest book club featuring young adult novels is for both adults and teens. For our inaugural meeting, we will be discussing Laini Taylor's, Daughter of Smoke and Bone.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone follows Karou, a 17-year old art student living in Prague. Karou has no clue who she really is; she has no knowledge or sense of her upbringing and history. She does, however, have a family of characters whom she helps collect teeth for mysterious purposes. In between the supernatural and mythical comes a wonderfully woven tale of self-discovery and romance.
Join us May 3 at 6:30 p.m. for lively discussion and light refreshments. Ages 12 and up welcome, though Daughter of Smoke and Bone does contain some mature content.
