Join us on Thursday, May 3, for a discussion of James Lee Burke's, The Glass Rainbow, the 18th book in the Dave Robicheaux series. Widely reviewed as one of the best of Burke's novels, the reader continues to follow Robicheaux's life in the bayou country of Louisiana with all its local color and complexity of characters. As Robicheaux investigates the death of a series of young women, the author moves back and forth between the depths of human depravity and the heights of nobility. The author's signature mystic experiences are of a descriptive quality not equaled since In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead. Visit the author's website at http://www.jamesleeburke.com
The Cleveland Park Mystery Book Club meets on the first Thursday of the month at Barnes & Noble, 12th and E Streets, NW, at 6:30 pm.
