From Fiction to Art: 'To Kill a Mockingbird'
Published on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - 4:01pm
Join us Tuesday, May 15 as we celebrate reading through art. Teens visiting the Lamond-Riggs Library will be able to participate in a joint project to create artistic representations of the main events in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
There will be two options: Create a comic strip (limited to six frames) or create an original piece of artwork with mixed media.
Teens who have not yet read the book will be able to use the abridged version, full text or plot overview handout as references.
The program is appropriate for teens ages 12-19, and will take place in the Teen Space.
