Ribbon-cutting at William O. Lockridge/Bellevue

Mayor Vincent Gray, Councilman Marion Barry and Chief Librarian Ginnie Cooper opened the doors to William O. Lockridge/Bellevue Library on June 13.

The three-level, 22,000-square-foot library, which features more than 40,000 materials for checkout and separate reading areas for adults, teens and children, will now be open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.
