Can You Read More Than a Librarian?

How much can you read this summer? There’s a lot depending on the answer to that question. It’s imperative because not only will you be competing for a drawing for prizes, you’ll be competing against the library staff. That’s right. This summer, readers registered in the summer reading program will be going head-to-head to see who can read the most.
What’s at stake? Well, if you read more than Miss Jess, you will get the chance to throw a pie at her at the End of Summer Reading Party.
If you read more than our Manager, Miss April, you can throw one water balloon at her for each book you read over her at The End of Summer Reading Party.
If you read more than Circulation Team member, Caesar Jackson, you will be able to throw water balloons at him at The End of Summer Reading Party.
It’s not too late to sign up for Summer Reading! Come in and get a log book to keep track of the time you read. You’ll earn a bookmark book light, and a chance to be in a drawing for a Kindle Fire. Don’t miss out! See the Children’s desk for more details.
