Kid's Graphic Novel Book Club

Hey kids, we're eating pizza and talking about graphic novels again! This month the book we'll be discussing is Hereville: How Mirka Got Her Sword by Barry Deutsch. This is the story of Mirka Herschberg. She's an 11-year-old Orthodox Jewish girl who wants to fight dragons, even though everyone knows dragons don't exist. Then one day she accepts a challenge from a mysterious witch. It turns out Mirka may get her wish after all.
