From "The Tyger" by William Blake:
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
This month, the Fiction Lover's Book Club read The Tiger's Wife, by Tea Obreht, for discussion at our September meeting. In the novel, a young Bosnian doctor returns home as a humanitarian aid worker, coming face-to-face with the brutal past and determined to unravel the mystery of her grandfather's recent death.

The film is set in 1992 and is based on the true story of British war correspondent Michael Nicholson, a reporter for ITN. Directed by Michael Winterbottom, and released in 1997, the film runs 93 minutes. It is rated R.
