End of Summer Reading Party For Kids and Teens!

Miss Patty with a pie

The kids are heading back to school, the days are getting shorter, and summer reading is over.  Hopefully everyone has turned in their summer reading logs after hours and hours of reading. That means it’s time for a party!

On Saturday, Sept. 8 at 3:30 p.m., the Cleveland Park Library is throwing an "End of Summer Reading Party" and everyone is invited!

We’ll have lots of fun craft activities, including decorating your own messenger bag, mask-making and face-painting, as well as prizes and -- at the end of the festivities, it will be PIE THROWING TIME!  That's right, every child who read 50 or more hours this summer and has their reading log to prove it, will be given a chance to throw a whipped cream pie at Miss Patty!
