Block Party For Knitters & Crocheters

balls of yarn and a set of bamboo knitting needlesJoin us on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a Block Party. Knit & Lit, a social group for knitters and crocheters, will be finishing up their local charity project.

Over the past few months, group members have been knitting away; stitching up 12" patterned squares. Please join in and lend a helping hand as we vote on our favorite 16 squares that will make up the finished blanket. Bring your favorite books, ideas for a new group project and current craft projects while we party, celebrate and knit our blocks together.

The finished blanket will be donated to Project Linus, which provides comfy, durable, handmade blankets for severely traumatized children who may not have anything else homemade in their possession.

Knit & Lit regularly meets every Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please come join us! Knitting or crocheting experience is not required. We'll have food, snacks, and refreshments.
