'A Book that Shaped Me' Contest Winners

A Book That Shaped Me
We are proud to announce the library location winners of the "A Book That Shaped Me" Summer Writing Contest, which encouraged fifth- and sixth-graders to reflect on a book that has made a personal impact on their lives. The 19 location winners each received a $50 gift card and prizes.

A panel of judges, assembled by the Library of Congress to include educators, children's authors and Library of Congress staff, will select three Grand Prize winners out of the 19. The Grand Prize winners will each receive a $200 gift card and additional prizes.
