Come Write-in at Georgetown

It's National Novel Writing Month once again -- that time of year when professional and aspiring writers challenge themselves to write a 50,000 word novel in one month!
Go to nanowrimo.org to sign up for 30 crazy days and nights of literary abandon! Then join us at the Georgetown Library on Tuesday nights in November from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to work alongside other "wrimos" and encourage each other to finish this gargantuan, but amazingly fun, task. We will have WiFi, outlets and caffeine, but no snacks are allowed in the reading rooms, so eat before you come.
And to get you started, grab a copy of NaNoWrimo founder Chris Baty's No Plot? No Problem!, which walks you through the process of writing a novel in a month.
