Simple Sock Knitting

hand knitted sockBeginning in March, learn how to knit socks at the Georgetown library. Instructor Mike Price will lead you through the process of knitting one sock. You must have experience with knitting, purling, casting on, and binding off in order to take this four-week class. Experience with the use of circular needles is also highly suggested.

Registration will start in person on Feb. 16, at 3 p.m., at the beginning of the Knit & Lit Club. Afterwards, all registration will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis by emailing michael.l.price@dc.gov with your Tuesday evening or Saturday afternoon session preference.

Attendance at all four sessions is required and all materials will be provided by the library.
