January Teen Programs

The holidays are finally over! That means it is time to find other fun distractions from the cold blistery weather. Youth ages 12 to 19 are invited to join Ms. Bobbie in the Teen Space for books, crafts and games all month long. Throughout December, we received shipment after shipment of new books for the Teen Space, so be sure to peruse our new books display!
We will honor Martin Luther King Jr. this month with a MLK quote collage craft on Monday, Jan. 7 as well as through our Book Club selection - Kekla Magoon's The Rock and the River. Book Club meets Monday, Jan. 28, so there is plenty of time to come grab a copy and read.
Teen Game Night is every Wednesday this month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so stop by for Wii or board games and feel free to bring in your own games too.
Looking for a community service opportunity? Consider joining the Francis A. Gregory Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) and get service hours for helping run themed game nights or participating in the book club!
