DC History Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon

Research and update Wikipedia pages related to D.C. history!  This event takes place at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. and includes:
  • a behind-the-scenes tour with the Library Director of the Kiplinger Research Library
  • lunch
  • edit-a-thon
Individuals who are unfamiliar with Wikipedia but would like to learn more are welcome to attend.  Please come with your own WiFi-enabled laptop computer.

Special Collections at the DC Public Library, the Historical Society of Washington D.C., and George Washington University are partnering on this event. Each has rich collections related to the history of Washington, D.C. 

This event runs until 4 p.m. The Historical Society of Washington, D.C. is at 801 K Street NW. Use the main entrance on K street. A staff member will be there to greet you.
