Mary Kay Zuravleff, 'The Bowl is Already Broken'

Book cover image of The Bowl is Already BrokenWe're excited to announce that local author Mary Kay Zuravleff will join us at the Takoma Park DC Library on Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m.  Her novel The Bowl is Already Broken follows Promise Whittaker, interim director at the Museum of Asian Art in Washington, D.C.  The author herself worked at the Smithsonian's Freer and Sackler Galleries for many years.  Zuravleff lives in D.C. and has taught writing at many places, including American University and George Mason University. She currently organizes the PEN/Faulkner Reading Series

Please join our adult book group for this special event. Ms. Zuravleff will give a short reading related to the D.C. area and then we will discuss the book and have a Q&A session with the author.
