The Perks of Being a Wallflower Screening

First Teen Space event

Cleveland Park Library is proud to introduce Teen Space, a monthly event taking place on the first Thursday of the month.

What exactly does Teen Space mean? Good question! Teen Space is a monthly event that provides a space for teens to interact with the library. Teen Space events will vary each month. From art classes to creating a study space before finals, Teen Space will have something for you!

Image of the poster for Perks of Being a Wallflower For our first event, we will be screening the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, based on the book by Stephen Chbosky.

Here's what you need to know:

When: Thursday March 7th, 7:00 PM
Where: Second floor Meeting Room of the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library

So join us on March 7 as we watch the movie, and stay afterwards for a short discussion. Topics will include:

  • Difference between the novel and film.
  • Emma Watson's haircut.
  • How good Rocky Horror is.

Refreshments will be served.

Want to help plan events at the library? We need your help! Join our Teen Action Group (TAG) to help plan events and programs at the library. In addition to getting a say in how events are planned at the library, being a part of TAG is a great way to earn volunteer hours!

And remember, Teen Book Club will meet on March 23 from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. to discuss Allegra Goodman's The Other Side of the Island. Get your copy today!
