New York Times correspondent Rachel Swarns,will read from her critically acclaimed book, American Tapestry.

Named one of the 100 Notable Books of 2012 by the New York Times Book Review and recently honored as a Core Collection Star title by EBSCO Publishing, American Tapestry unearths the stories of First Lady Michelle Obama's black, white, and multiracial ancestors, who journeyed from slavery to the White House in five generations.

Ms. Swarns will read from the book and show photos of Mrs. Obama's ancestors. This is a program you can't miss!
