Health Information Workshop

Georgetown University Hospital will be providing instruction on how to evaluate the quality and relevance of health information available through the Internet at this one-on-one workshop hosted by DC Public Library at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 8 at the Francis A. Gregory Neighborhood Library.
The workshop will focus on using quality Internet-based health resources reviewed by health care professionals, with emphasis on resources available through the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
The workshop will use iPads provided by the Georgetown University Hospital to help participants navigate through health information on the internet and demonstrate apps.
