Historic Bridges of Rock Creek Park

boulder bridge, rock creek parkIn this lecture, John DeFerrari, author of the Streets Of Washington blog, will present a slide lecture on the many bridges, fords, dams, and other man-made objects that have been built in nearby Rock Creek Park through the years. Though known for its natural beauty, the park has actually been subject to many man-made alterations, and they all have fascinating histories. Beautiful vintage postcard images will punctuate of the talk.
