There's a Cherry Tree in the Children's Division!

At last, the tree in the hall just outside the Children's Division has burst forth in blossoms, revealing its true identity -- it is a cherry tree! Just like the famed Washington, D.C. cherry trees that are blooming along the Tidal Basin.
Enjoy the history and beauty of the District's favorite flowers at home or all year-round with these great children's books:
- Cherry Blossom Friends by Corkey Hay DeSimone
- Cherry Blossoms Say Spring by Jill Esbaum
- Thea Stilton and the Cherry Blossom Adventure
- Japanese Celebrations: Rice Cakes, Cherry Blossoms and Matsuri by Setsu Broderick
Make sure to stop by the Children's Division, or check back here for updates as our tree continues to grow and change.
Can you guess what comes next after blossoms?
