The Knitty Gritty Committee

Ah, spring. Time to pull out the sundresses, watch March Madness, revel in the glory of DC’s cherry blossoms. That is, if you want to experience a typical spring in DC.
But if you really want to, as Emeril Lagasse says, “kick it up a notch” with your springtime glory, you don’t need Christian Louboutin shoes and a multi-million dollar yacht to make your spring fabulous. No. What will make your spring fabulous is joining The Knitty Gritty Committee!
The Knitty Gritty Committee is MLK’s very own knitting and crocheting circle. We meet every second and fourth Monday of the month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Popular Library (the big room to the right, as you enter the library). Knitters of all levels are welcome. Our next meeting is Monday, April 22.
