Know Your Neighborhood: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Columbia Heights

He will present a sweeping view of the history of the Columbia Heights neighborhood that mirrors the history of urban America. Kraft will trace the neighborhood's beginnings, physical development, demographic upheavals, and recent resurgence with maps, photos, and other images.

Join us for a repeat of this wonderful talk in the meeting room on the main floor of the library.

Know Your Neighborhood is a series of programs exploring the history of DC neighborhoods, a collaboration between DC Public Library's Washingtoniana Division and the Mount Pleasant Library.
