Beneath the Surface: Albus Cavus - Science and Art of the Cosmos

Date:
Wednesday, August 14, 2013 - 5:30 p.m.

Explore the vast distances of our universe through art! Though there are physical laws that define planets, stars and galaxies, there is a lot about space we still don’t know. Art is great way to practice imagining various abstract concepts that are difficult to grasp – helping us understand the cosmos.

Ages 13-19.

ACAlbus Cavus is an international collective of artists and scientists who improve quality of urban life through arts and creativity. This goal is accomplished with community-based public art, participatory events, interactive environments and project-oriented education. “Beneath the Surface” workshops present innovative art techniques for exploring the world beneath the obvious and invisible to the bare eye.
