Science in the Summer is a fun, free, experiment-oriented course taught by certified teachers to groups of 15 children in two age groups:

  • Children entering second and third grades (Level I)
  • Children entering fourth through sixth grades (Level II)

Science in the Summer will be held from June 24-27. Level I will meet from 2-3 p.m., and Level II will meet from 3:45-4:45 p.m.

These programs are designed to get kids excited about science through hands-on experiments. The programs are by registration only and are limited to 15 students each.

Participants and a parent must register in person at the library. Please contact Ms. Christina at christina.mctighe@dc.gov with any questions.
