Children Celebrate Folk!

Did you know that the Smithsonian Folklife Festival begins on June 26? This free festival, held every summer on the National Mall, celebrates several U.S. and foreign cultures each year with music, crafts, food and demonstrations of practical skills. It offers a variety of daily ongoing activities for families and children and is a great place to take children on summer days off!
Check out these children's materials at library to learn more about folk music, life, and art!
