Please join us in the Black Studies Center on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. as Dr. Ida E. Jones, Assistant Curator of Manuscripts in the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center, discusses her book, The Heart of the Race Problem: The Life of Kelly Miller.
This is the first comprehensive biography of Miller, noted intellectual and civil rights advocate, who rubbed shoulders with such greats as Nannie Helen Burroughs, W.E.B. Dubois, Booker T. Washington and Mary McLeod Bethune.
