New Mysteries, Vintage Covers

Shelving the new books a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled on Stephen King's new book, Joyland, which has a distinctive cover (to say the least). The pulpy style could have come right out of the 40's or 50's, but it's actually part of a line of titles from Hard Case Crime that uses the vintage look of old dime-store novels to promote new thriller and horror titles. In some cases, they've even re-released an old title
If you're looking for some similarly lurid-looking titles, stop by the library for these titles. They're easy to spot!
