Thursday, August 29, 2013 - 8 p.m.
Come join us in the garden to celebrate some great films of the Silent Movie Era. We will be showing two short films by the famed silent movie actor Buster Keaton.
|One Week (1920)
One Week is a 1920 short comedy film starring comedian Buster Keaton, the first film to be released made by Keaton on his own. The story involves two newlyweds, Keaton and Seely, who receive a build-it-yourself house as a wedding gift. The house can be built, supposedly, in "one week."
|The Goat (1921)
The Goat is a 1921 short comedy film starred and directed by comedian Buster Keaton. A series of adventures begins when an accident during photographing causes Buster to be mistaken for Dead Shot Dan, the evil bad guy.
These short films will be streamed from The Internet Archive, Archive.org.
