Talking Book Club
We will discuss Shadows of Glory, by Owen Parry. In 1862, Major Abel Jones from Faded Coat of Blue is sent to upstate New York by President Lincoln to investigate two murders of federal agents and hints of a possible immigrant insurrection. Jones encounters a deadly plot against the Union and gets help from a beautiful mystic. Some strong language. This title is available in the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped collection as DB 58243, and in the main fiction collection.
