DC By the Book: Authors Danielle Evans and Richard McCann

DC By the Book logoThe Humanities Council of Washington, DC and a small panel of local authors will discuss the use of Washington, DC’s vibrant neighborhoods as a setting for works of fiction, and how those neighborhoods can become characters that drive a narrative.
 
Danielle Evans, a professor at American University, and author of Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self will sit down with Richard McCann, author of Mother of Sorrows to read from their works and discuss their use of Washington, D.C. and its unique and lively neighborhoods as settings.

The program is part of the DC Public Library’s DC By the Book project, a crowd-sourced, online look at D.C.’s place in popular literature.

Light refreshments will be served.
