DC Shorts Film Festival 2013

DC Shorts Film Festival
Sept. 19-29, check out the DC Shorts Film Festival, the only event in DC dedicated to featuring short films from throughout the world. All films are 20 minutes or less and showcase a variety of genres, including but not limited to comedy, drama, anime, action, sci-fi, and documentary. The festival will spotlight 150 short films from 22 countries across the globe.

Films will be screened at six different theaters in the metro D.C. area, including the nearby Anacostia Arts Center. There will also be local actors on hand to read the winning script of the
festival’s annual screenwriting contest. The winner's short will be shown at the 2014 festival.

All events, including those that are free require tickets. For more information, visit dcshorts.com.
