Pajama Story Time & Stuffed Animal Sleepover!
Published on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 - 10:11am
Last year's event was a hit with Petworth families so we're making this an annual affair!
Bring a stuffed animal friend with you for our special Pajama Story Time on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. We will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, movement and a craft to support early literacy, fine and gross motor development and "bedtime awareness."
Afterward, your plush pal will give you a farewell hug and remain overnight at the library for an eventful sleepover! The evening’s escapades will be photographed and shared with participating families via the public library’s webpage and social networking sites.
Pajama Story time is a weekly educational program for children ages birth through 7 years and their families or caregivers. We meet in the Children's Program Room on the second floor. Children are encouraged to wear comfortable pajamas, bring their favorite bedtime buddy and a grown-up partner to partake in the program.
Hoorary! We're looking forward to this year's slumber party!
