'Capital Splendor' in Washington D.C.

Join us in discovering Capital Splendor in Washington D. C., with discussion and a pictorial walk through the parks and gardens of our nation's capital on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m.
Author Barbara Glickman will discuss celebrated Washington gardens such as Dumbarton Oaks, and little-known gems like Meadowlark Gardens. Capital Splendor showcases spectacular celebrations, including the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the wealth of gardens and parks in the District. The accompanying photographs by Valerie Brown will inspire you to see these beautiful places for yourself.
Barbara Glickman has lived in the D.C. area for more than 30 years and has been an active and avid member of the D.C. gardening community. Her extensive travels have taken her to gardens throughout the country and around the world.
