Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library Rolls Out a New Program Schedule!

storytimepicBeginning Oct. 1, the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library will offer a new programming schedule, featuring story times, book clubs, and activities for children of all ages on  a weekly basis.

For non-walkers: Baby Laptime
Wednesdays, 11 a.m., Large Conference Room, Second Floor
Families must register for this story time on a weekly basis. To register, email Miss Christina at, no more than seven days in advance and provide your child's name and age. Siblings and nanny share buddies are welcome!

For walkers up to 36 months: Toddler Drop-In Storytime
Fridays, 10:30 a.m., Large Conference Room, Second Floor
For Children Aged 3 to 5: Preschool Story Time
Fridays, 4 p.m., Story Time Room, First Floor

For school-age children: Explorer’s Club
Tuesday, 4 p.m., Story Time Room, First Floor

For children from ages 9-12: Independent Reader Book Club  
Every other Wednesday, 4 p.m., Story Time Room, First Floor

For teens: Teen Café
Thursdays, 3-5 p.m., Large Conference Room, Second Floor
Rotating activities and a space for teens to hang out.

Also look for single event and monthly programs including special performers, films for both teens and children, craft programs, featured story times, a teen book club and author talks.
