Digital Book Club in American Sign Language

Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, 6:30 p.m.

Love to read and talk about books? Have an eReader?  Want to learn how to download and enjoy a book using an eReader?

If so, please join us for a discussion in American Sign Language of this year's DC Reads selection, Frederick Douglass in Washington, D.C.: the Lion of Anacostia by premier young historian and former Washington Times reporter, John Muller.

This will be the first in a series of Digital Book Clubs in American Sign Language (ASL). Deaf Services Librarian Janice Rosen will facilitate discussion using American Sign Language (and voice if necessary). No need to have read the book beforehand, but it is highly recommended. Feel free to bring a snack.

Adaptive Services Learning Lab, Room 215.
