Celebrate Hispanic Heritage!

Hispanic Heritage Month

Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage month with us on Saturday, Sept. 28 starting at 1 p.m.

We will kick off with the Maru Montero dancers performing at 1 p.m. There will be face painting of various Latin American flags, Spanish and English bilingual story-time, and live guitar music. There will even be some samples of Salvadoran and Puerto Rican cuisine (thanks to our Friends of the Takoma Park Library and to some of our staff.)

This event is free and open to all ages, so please join us as we celebrate the legacy of Latin Americans in the United States.  Questions? Call us at 202-576-7252. In case of rain, we will bring the event indoors.
