Please join us at the Georgetown Library on Sunday, Oct. 6 to celebrate extended hours at DC Public Library. We are now open 4 nights and 7 days a week. We will mark this historic occasion with an inaugural Sunday celebration from 2-4 p.m.  There will be refreshments, giveaways and activities for all ages:

  • 2 p.m.: Welcome & Overview of Library Services, Programs & Staff
  • 2:30 p.m.: Celebrate your Library Storytime for Children - Make a Book Lover's Bookworm all day in the Children's Room
  • 3 p.m.: Make an origami picture frame - Tweens, Teens & Adults
  • 2:30 - 4 p.m.: Learn to download free (legal!) MP3 music and over 150 magazines from the library's digital collections using Freegal & Zinio
The first 100 people to come through the door on Sunday will receive a prize.
