As part of the city-wide DC Reads celebration, Bellevue Neighborhood Library is hosting a historical information session about Frederick Douglass on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.

You'll have the opportunity to watch a Frederick Douglass documentary then learn about and discuss several books that showcase the abolitionist's 
role in the Civil War, as well as his activities in the local Anacostia area. Topics include race relations, civil rights and slavery.
