'A Street Cat Named Bob and How He Saved My Life'

Guardian cat

Image of bookcover for A Streetcat Named BobBeing a cat fan, I had to read James Bowen's Book, A Street Cat Named Bob and How He Saved My Life. Dog fans might like it too because it shows what a difference having an animal in our lives can make.

Bob helps James to quit his drug habit and quit living on the streets of London. James found Bob hungry, dirty and generally in bad shape while he was performing as a busker (street musician).

At first James didn't think he could adopt Bob since he had barely enough money to take care of himself, let alone Bob. But he and Bob hit it off and he felt that he should get a vet to look at Bob and maybe someone else could adopt him. But Bob comes with him while he's busking and draws in crowds and money. This is the beginning of their great relationship.

You'll have to read the book to see what else happens to them.
