Everybody’s Got a Hero: Stenciled Portraits

A woodblock portraits Sometimes it’s a musician, sometimes a ball player, sometimes a poet, sometimes a pastor, sometimes a teacher, and sometimes even a parent.

To celebrate Black History Month at the Woodridge Neighborhood Library, 10-18 year-olds are invited to make portraits of your favorite African-African hero.

We’ll teach you some basic stencil techniques and everyone’s work will be exhibited in the library and on the library’s website.
